We’re looking for an

Assistant Financial Controller

who thrives in a dynamic, international environment and is eager to grow within a global finance team. You’ll work closely with the International Controller and play a key role in ensuring the financial operations run smoothly, transparently, and in alignment with the strategic goals. Responsibilities

Support financial consolidation across multiple international entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, helping leadership make informed decisions. Collaborate across departments and countries to gather financial data, streamline processes, and improve reporting accuracy.Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles, offering insights that drive performance and efficiency. Review general ledger and month-end accruals, allowances and provisions, to ensure compliance with Dutch/US GAAP/IFRS, and internal financial policies. Check inventory accounting and costing with a focus on proper cost absorption throughout the production cycle.Work with external auditors and advisors, supporting audits and tax filings with professionalism and precision. Leverage tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Excel and Blue10 to manage data, automate tasks, and improve workflows. Continuously improve internal controls and financial processes, bringing fresh ideas and a proactive mindset.Skills

A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in financial accounting or controlling, ideally in an international setting and public accounting. Solid understanding of international accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Business Central or Navision experience is a plus).A collaborative spirit and attention to detail. Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus). A proactive, hands-on approach and a willingness to learn and grow. What they offer
