Warehouse Manager, Rozenburg

Overview A Warehouse Manager oversees the operations of a warehouse or storage facility, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management : Regularly audit and report inventory levels, and make recommendations for restocking items.

Team Leadership : Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.

Operational Efficiency : Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.

Safety and Compliance : Ensure the warehouse complies with all safety regulations and standards. Conduct safety training and audits.

Coordination and Communication : Work closely with other departments, such as logistics and sales, to ensure smooth operations and timely shipments.

Space Utilization : Optimize the layout and storage of the warehouse to maximize space and improve workflow.

Reporting : Generate regular reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and other key metrics.

Qualifications

Experience : Several years of experience in warehouse management or a related field.

Skills : Proficiency in warehouse management software, strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education : A degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is often preferred.

Knowledge : Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehousing, and a solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
