C.H. Robinson is seeking an Airfreight Operations Agent to join our team in Aalsmeer, Netherlands. The role involves managing and operating the shipment life‑cycle for assigned consolidations in the Gateway department, ensuring accurate and timely documentation, communication, and coordination with customers and partners.Responsibilities

Maintain operational excellence by understanding processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping from purchase order issuance through delivery. Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and create solutions in response to challenges internally and externally.Coordinate shipment tasks to meet all customer SOP requirements, including booking approvals, pre‑alert processing, governmental filings, delivery execution, and invoicing. Facilitate relationships by collaborating with international team members and third‑party agents to ensure efficiency, excellent customer service, and creative problem resolution.Build strong customer relationships, responding timely and following up on issue resolution. Provide reporting and documentation support to internal and external customers. Participate in customer business reviews. Contribute to seamless forwarding operations across various regions, gaining exposure to unique challenges and client needs.Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in global forwarding and air freight operations (import and/or export). Fluency in English and Dutch (written and verbal). Exceptional customer service and follow‑up skills. Strong critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, and adaptability skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment, including a rotating weekend schedule.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint). Preferred: Formal knowledge or coursework in supply chain, logistics, international business, or related fields. Flexibility and eagerness to learn in a dynamic freight‑forwarding environment.
