As a Senior Account Manager, you are more than a commercial driver. You are a strategic partner, growth accelerator, and trusted advisor. You will take ownership of key international accounts with significant commercial impact, shaping long‑term partnerships while identifying new growth opportunities in a fast‑evolving marine landscape.You thrive at the intersection of strategy, relationship management, and market intelligence, translating customer insights into sustainable business success. Your main tasks and responsibilities: Manage and further develop strategic and key customer accounts Define and execute long‑term account strategies aligned with business objectivesLead complex commercial negotiations and contract discussions Drive sustainable customer growth and identify new business opportunities Contribute to the development of regional sales strategies and market positioning Anticipate market trends and translate customer needs into business opportunitiesAct as a key commercial interface towards Product Development and Marketing Contribute to product roadmap discussions and go‑to‑market strategies Collaborate closely with Operations, After Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering Support joint customer opportunities with affiliated companiesRepresent Yanmar at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events Share knowledge within the team and support the development of colleagues Take a leading role within the team when required Who are we looking for?

You are a globally minded relationship builder with strong commercial instincts and the confidence to navigate complex, international stakeholder environments. You naturally connect people, ideas, and opportunities, and you know how to turn those connections into long‑term business value. You bring energy, ownership, and a proactive mindset, always looking ahead to what’s next for your customers and the business.The ideal candidate: Bachelor’s degree (technical and/or commercial preferred) 10+ years of experience in sales or strategic account management Experience or strong affinity with the maritime industry Proven success managing complex, international customer accounts Strong negotiation, stakeholder, and relationship‑building skillsAbility to influence across functions and seniority levels Excellent command of English (additional languages are a plus) Applicants must currently reside in the Netherlands and be eligible to work in the country, including having a valid work permit or a valid passport. Work location: Your primary office location is in Almere, the Netherlands.What do we offer?
