They help suppliers, procurement organisations, and retailers centrally manage, standardise, and commercially leverage their product data.Their Data-as-a-Service platform transforms raw, messy supplier data into high-quality, structured product information. The platform is continuously growing, and AI plays an increasingly central role in how data quality is improved, workflows are automated, and operations scale. As Platform Developer you will design, build, and maintain the digital solutions at the core of our client’s platform. In practice that means working within Pimcore — their DXP/PIM environment — but the skills that matter most are ones you very likely already have: solid backend architecture, clean API integration, and a real instinct for data modelling.No Pimcore experience? No problem. Our client will cover your training and certification. What they’re looking for is a developer who writes code they’re proud of, thinks about maintainability from day one, and is genuinely curious about how AI tooling can make their work faster and better. You’ll work closely with product, data, and IT colleagues and have direct impact on digitalisation,efficiency, and the experience of the businesses that rely on the platform.Tasks&responsibilities

Build and maintain custom functionality within the Pimcore platform (PIM, DAM, CMS, DXP)— training and certification fully covered if needed; Design and implement API integrations with ERP, CRM, and e-commerce systems; Model and optimise data structures, object schemas, workflows, and business rules;Improve platform performance, stability, and long-term maintainability; Use AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, or similar) as a genuine part of your workflow; Contribute to technical decisions and translate business requirements into practical, scalable solutions. Your profile

At least 3 years of backend development experience— PHP (Symfony) is a strong fit, but Python or another OOP background works if the fundamentals are solid; You don’t need to know Pimcore. You need to care about building things that actually work — and our client will invest in the rest; Good grasp of relational databases, REST APIs, and data-driven application architecture;You already use AI tools in your daily coding work— Copilot, Cursor, or similar — and you have a view on how to use them well; You write structured, readable code and take ownership of quality end-to-end; You communicate clearly, work independently, and enjoy solving problems at the system level;
