Working with a modern Python-based stack, you will contribute to building a practical tool that helps the team operate more efficiently and make better use of resources. This is a hands-on role where you will work with real data, contribute to an existing codebase, and see the direct impact of your work.The internship will have a duration of 4 months. About the role

Contribute to the development of an internal lab inventory system Work on a Python-based backend to track key lab components such as membranes, chemicals, and spacers Expand and maintain a PostgreSQL database to support inventory tracking Develop and improve features within the existing codebaseWrite tests to ensure reliability and maintainability of the system Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions Function requirements

We expect from you Currently enrolled as a student in Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field Experience with Python (SQLAlchemy and FastAPI required; PyQt6 is a plus) Basic knowledge of SQL, preferably PostgreSQL Familiarity with Git version control Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasksComfortable asking questions and challenging assumptions when needed Open to feedback and code reviews Good communication skills in English About our company
