Field Technician

to join our team. As a

Field Technician , your responsibilities will include supporting the hardware systems lifecycle—installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and disassembly—of camera systems worldwide, both in-house and in-field. Hardware Operations is part of a high-profile client project providing interactive panoramas from various locations globally, under Geo Data Operations (GDO). It involves building, testing, deploying, and maintaining imagery hardware and sensors on different platforms.Responsibilities Support hardware systems lifecycle (installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, disassembly) for camera systems in-house and in-field. Provide remote support for fleet systems, including guiding operators through system tests and data collection. Assist engineering teams with testing and data collection projects.Perform hardware maintenance and failure analysis. Train and support new technicians in hardware operations. Manage spare hardware and procure hardware/tools. Coordinate with project teams (fleet, inventory, logistics) to ensure effective hardware support. Create and review technical guides to enhance hardware support knowledge base.Develop solutions for hardware operation challenges. Requirements Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Field Technician. Ability to travel up to 70%, often on short notice (domestic and international). Valid driver’s license with a clean record. Experience with hand tools, light power tools, wiring diagrams, and mechanical troubleshooting.Knowledge of hardware types, measuring tools, and techniques. Understanding of electronics troubleshooting and repairs (preferred). Familiarity with Linux (preferred). Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, with proactive time and task management.Comfortable in a fast-changing environment. Knowledge of vehicle, computer, camera parts, PCB (desirable).
