About the Company I am recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing and innovative

medical device company

based in the

Benelux region , focused on developing cutting-edge solutions for individuals living with

diabetes . Their mission is to empower patients and healthcare professionals with user-friendly, effective technologies that improve daily life and care outcomes.

Role Overview The selected freelancer will work closely with internal teams to design and execute impactful marketing strategies. This role requires strong communication skills, healthcare knowledge, and the ability to translate technical information into accessible messaging for both professional and patient audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement tailored

marketing and communication strategies

Create content for a range of materials: social media, websites, brochures, newsletters, presentations

Support

product and campaign launches

with effective messaging

Translate complex clinical and technical information into

clear and engaging copy

Lead

public relations

efforts, including press releases and media engagement

Ensure consistent application of the

brand’s tone, voice, and messaging

across all platforms

Analyse campaign performance and recommend data-driven improvements

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will bring:

Proven experience in

healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical communication/marketing

Deep understanding of the

Benelux region , including local languages and healthcare environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in

Dutch and/or French , with fluency in

English

Experience with marketing and communication tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Google Ads, CMS, LinkedIn Ads)

Ability to work on-site, independently and collaboratively, with multiple stakeholders

Familiarity with diabetes care or chronic disease communication is highly valued
