Join the Corendon Family as our new Operations Supervisor Internship. As an
Operations Supervisor , you play a key role in the daily operation of the hotel. You support multiple departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food&Beverage, and Spa and ensure that communication between teams runs smoothly and efficiently.
You are the
link between the operational teams and the Operations Manager . You translate daily priorities into clear actions, monitor service quality on the floor, and make sure that all departments work together to deliver the high standards expected within Marriott.
With a hands‑on mindset and strong attention to detail, you help maintain a safe, clean, and guest‑focused environment. You are visible throughout the hotel, approachable for both guests and colleagues, and quick to step in when challenges arise.
You coach team members during their shifts, support Department Supervisors, and help them grow in their roles. Through your leadership, you inspire teams to deliver excellent service every day, for every guest.
What does the role involve? As Operations Supervisor intern, you will:
Assist in all departments
Front Office
Assist in daily Front Office operations including guest check in and check out.
Support guests with inquiries, requests, and reservations.
Monitor and manage GXP (Guest Experience Platform) requests and follow up.
Ensure timely handling of guest cases, service requests, and communication through GXP.
Ensure smooth communication between departments regarding guest needs.
Learn and follow Marriott service standards and procedures.
Food&Beverage
Support Food&Beverage operations during breakfast and service periods.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Help monitor stock and operational supplies when required.
Guest Relations
Welcome and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Arrange guest amenities for VIPs, special occasions, and long-stay guests.
Support the handling of guest feedback and service recovery.
Assist in answering online guest reviews and guest satisfaction feedback.
Help maintain high guest satisfaction standards throughout the guest journey.
General Operations Support
Participate in daily operational briefings and shift handovers.
Assist supervisors and managers with operational tasks and reporting.
Observe and learn hotel operational procedures and leadership practices.
Ensure compliance with hotel hygiene, safety, and service standards.
Support teamwork and communication across departments.
Qualifications:
You have proven education in hotel operations or management roles within hospitality
You are organized, structured, and solution-oriented
You communicate clearly and inspire others through leadership and enthusiasm
You are flexible, proactive, and thrive in a dynamic international environment
You lead by example and are passionate about teamwork and guest satisfaction
You speak fluent English; Dutch is a plus
