Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP SD / GTS Consultant to support a global life sciences client on a long-term engagement. The consultant will deliver and support SAP Sales&Distribution and Global Trade Services solutions in a regulated, international environment. This role requires a strong functional background, hands‑on delivery experience, and the ability to collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and support SAP SD and GTS solutions aligned with business requirements
Support international trade compliance processes including export controls, embargo screening, and customs management
Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications
Participate in system enhancements, integrations, testing, and deployment activities
Provide ongoing production support and issue resolution
Ensure solutions comply with life sciences regulatory and quality standards
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including logistics, finance, and supply chain
Required Experience&Skills
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on SAP experience, with strong focus on SAP SD and SAP GTS
Proven experience working with life sciences or regulated industries
Strong understanding of order‑to‑cash processes and global trade compliance
Experience with system configuration, testing, and end‑user support
Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a client‑facing role
Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience
