Role Summary Our client's Marketing Insights&Analytics (MI&A) team is looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Analyst to support data-driven marketing decision-making across multiple business units.
This is a doer role - the successful candidate will spend the majority of their time working directly with data: extracting, transforming, analyzing, and visualizing marketing performance data to generate actionable insights. This is not a project management position.
Please note that this position is a hybrid opportunity with three days a week in the Amsterdam office.
Key Responsibilities
Web Analytics:
Collect, analyse, and report on web traffic, user behaviour, and conversion data using platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar tools.
Digital Advertising Analytics:
Measure and optimise the performance of paid media campaigns (search, display, social, programmatic) across channels and business units.
E-Commerce Analytics:
Track and analyse e-commerce KPIs including transaction data, funnel performance, product engagement, and revenue attribution.
Dashboard Development:
Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI (or equivalent) to provide stakeholders with self-service access to marketing performance data.
Data Extraction&Transformation:
Work with raw data sources, APIs, and exports; clean and structure data in Excel, SQL, or Python/R for analysis.
Cross-BU Support:
Deliver analytics support across our client's multiple business units, adapting to varying data maturity levels and stakeholder needs.
Insight Generation:
Translate data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for marketing leaders and business stakeholders.
Ad-Hoc Analysis:
Respond to incoming analytics requests from the broader marketing organisation with speed and rigour.
Required Skills&Experience
3–5 years of experience in digital marketing analytics, web analytics, or a related data analysis role.
Strong proficiency in web analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 4, or similar).
Experience with digital advertising measurement across paid search, display, social, and/or programmatic channels.
Hands‑on experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent.
Familiarity with data extraction from APIs, tag management systems, and marketing platforms.
Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple data sources simultaneously.
Strong communication skills— ability to present data findings clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
Self‑starter who can work independently and manage competing priorities across business units.
Nice to Have
Experience in healthcare, medtech, or B2B enterprise marketing environments.
Familiarity with CRM data (Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, Marketo).
SQL proficiency; exposure to Python, R, or Databricks is a plus.
Knowledge of SEO/GEO analytics and share-of-search measurement.
Experience working within a multi‑business‑unit or matrix organisation.
Understanding of lead funnel analytics and marketing‑attributed pipeline measurement.
