Into building AI agents? Want to apply your knowledge in a real business environment where leadership, people, and organizational change come together? Then this might be your next step.
Who we are Kienbaum is the first consultancy firm in Germany and the only“People&Organization” firm of European origin. With our expertise in Executive Search, Management Audits/Assessments, Interim Executives, Board Advisory&Education, and HR Consultancy, we have achieved countless successes together with our clients.
In the Netherlands, where we have been active for more than 20 years, we have built lasting relationships with organizations ranging from small to large multinationals, family businesses, VC/PE firms, and digital scale-ups. Our office in Amsterdam is an ambitious, dynamic, and informal environment that is constantly growing.
At Kienbaum Netherlands, we guide companies undergoing significant change—businesses that are growing, expanding internationally, preparing for a new generation, or reinventing themselves. Our role is to support them in attracting and developing the right leaders—people who shape the future of the organization.
We are a small, close-knit team in Amsterdam, part of the international Kienbaum network across four continents. In Executive Search, we combine the power of data and AI with deep knowledge of people and organizations, alongside a personal approach. The right leader is not just recognized on paper—it’s about context, character, and cultural fit. In everything we do, “Empowering People” is central, including within our own team. We believe in collaboration, continuous learning (“learn4life”), delivering quality, and enjoying our work.
We are actively exploring AI adoption and have started building AI‑driven solutions to support our business operations—and we’re looking to accelerate this.
The Position In this role, you will help take our AI capabilities to the next level. Currently, we use AI primarily for new business development and content, but we are ready to expand further.
You will build and improve our existing AI agents and automations, explore new no‑code/low‑code solutions (e.g., Make.com, n8n), and monitor how leading firms in our industry are adopting AI—from candidate sourcing and market mapping to assessments and client engagement.
You will not just execute tasks—you will think with us about what is possible, what is relevant for a firm like ours, and what we should build next. This is a role with real ownership and impact in a growing, ambitious team.
The ideal candidate We are looking for an independent and curious student who thinks in solutions, has already started building AI agents, and is creative in sourcing information. You are self‑learning, proactive, and comfortable with a steep learning curve.
We offer flexibility to work 16–24 hours per week, depending on your availability. We understand study commitments and are happy to adjust your schedule accordingly. This student position may evolve into a full‑time Associate role at Kienbaum, offering the opportunity to launch an international career within the group.
