Sales executive, Amsterdam

UBITE is a startup focused on designing, developing, and producing bio based products that are fully circular. We combine design, science, and technology to create reusable tableware, such as the Zerocup and meal systems. With these solutions, we offer an alternative to single use and fossil based plastics. Together with our partners, we develop products from the ground up, from innovative raw materials to high quality end products for industries such as hospitality, aviation, and retail. We have previously worked with companies such as Lufthansa, Swiss Airlines and Oatly.Our mission is to create a world without disposable and fossil based plastics, without compromising on clean, minimalist design. At the moment, we focus on the B2B market, working with partners to replace plastics at scale. To increase our impact, we are looking to strengthen our sales team. What will you do?

As Sales Manager, you are responsible for developing and expanding the startup and helping take the company to the next level together with us. You play a central role in growing UBITE’s customer base and supporting the company’s commercial growth. You actively seek new leads, build customer relationships, and contribute ideas on how to strengthen our commercial strategy. You will also support marketing activities, such as preparing presentations, creating or coordinating supporting communication materials, and contributing to campaigns aimed at visibility and lead generation. In addition, you follow up on proposals, maintain customer contact, and identify opportunities in the market. You work closely with the team to translate customer needs into sustainable solutionswith real impact.What we are looking for?

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience. You are entrepreneurial, creative, proactive, and persistent. You have a strong affinity with design and sustainability. You enjoy approaching new customers, conducting sales meetings, and achieving commercial targets. Sales experience is a plus, but not required.You easily connect with people and can convincingly communicate our story and mission. You work in a structured way and communicate clearly. You like variety and work well in a dynamic environment, independently and remotely, but also as part of a team. What do we offer?

This role offers a high level of autonomy, in consultation with your colleagues, over your tasks, workplace, working hours, and holidays. We work alternately from a shared office in Amsterdam, our office near Nijmegen, and from home. Our warehouse is located in Venlo.We offer a competitive salary (including holiday allowance), depending on your education level and experience. In addition, you will receive a performance based bonus structure, where you are eligible for an attractive commission per successful customer deal.
