We are looking for an experienced finance professional to serve as a Financial/Business Controller for our hotel. The role focuses on financial control and audit responsibilities, supporting decision‑making, identifying business opportunities, and driving performance improvement. Operational accounting activities are fully outsourced to Accenture.

Key Responsibilities

Act as Financial/Business Controller, driving business developments and identifying business opportunities.

Manage and coordinate audit processes, safeguarding reporting integrity and ensuring all requirements are met.

Lead accurate month‑end closings, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting using the SAP system.

Provide proactive financial advice to hotel management, supported by risk analysis, trend evaluation, and business insights.

Review reports and deliver clear, data‑driven analyses for decision‑making.

Oversee financial compliance, reporting integrity, and internal controls, ensuring contractual and audit requirements are met in line with company policies and local legislation.

Support strategic initiatives such as cost optimisation and tenders.

Gross salary in scale 10 of the Dutch Hospitality CLA, ranging from€60,000 to €71,280 annually based on experience.

Essential Ingredients

Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to advise at operational, tactical and strategic level.

Proven experience in financial control or business control (hotel industry experience a plus).

Higher education degree (HBO or above) in finance, hotel management or a related field.

Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Strong expertise in financial analysis and reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting strategic planning.

Experience working with hotel owners, auditors, and external service providers.
