A fast-growing European energy technology scale-up is building a B2B SaaS energy trading platform that is transforming how businesses access and participate in wholesale electricity markets.
What does the platform do? The platform enables organisations with flexible energy assets including batteries, EV charging infrastructure, solar, and industrial demand, to actively trade energy and monetise flexibility in real time.
Following strong early traction and a successful pivot to a
partner-led go-to-market model , the business has achieved
7x partner growth in the past 12 months , building a rapidly expanding ecosystem now driving strong inbound demand. The next phase of growth combines continued partner expansion with the build-out of a
direct enterprise sales motion targeting large strategic accounts . This is a rare opportunity to join at a
pre-scale inflection point.
Key Responsibilities
Build and own a full outbound new business pipeline
Drive full-cycle B2B sales from prospecting to close
Win large strategic enterprise“whale” customers
Develop relationships across the energy ecosystem (EMS providers, battery companies, consultants, resellers)
Represent the business at industry events across Europe (NL&Germany focus)
Translate market trends and regulation into commercial opportunities
Work with founders and product teams to shape go-to-market strategyStrong track record in B2B new business / full-cycle sales
Proven hunter mentality with consistent pipeline and deal ownership
Confident engaging senior stakeholders in complex sales environments
Entrepreneurial, self-starting, and commercially driven
Fluent in Dutch and English
Comfortable operating in a fast-moving scale-up environment
Nice to Have
Experience in energy, renewables, batteries, EV charging, or consulting
Exposure to platform or marketplace business models
Network in industrial, logistics, agriculture, or energy-heavy sectors
Up to€90K basic salary (incl holiday)
Team-based annual bonus
Equity scheme introduced after year one
Regular travel across Netherlands&Germany for clients and events
