About The Role You will develop, run, and maintain Recorded Future’s state‑of‑the‑art malware analysis sandbox. Your work will include extending data processing capabilities to deliver rich malware reports through static and dynamic analysis, building infrastructure to run diverse workloads managing over 10PB of data, running millions of VMs a day, and processing terabytes of data every hour. You will also develop web services to help users interact with the sandbox and build tools to customize and analyze operating systems and hypervisors for malware analysis.
Responsibilities
Extend our data processing capabilities to provide rich reports on malware through static and dynamic analysis.
Build tools and infrastructure to run our diverse workloads. You will manage over 10PB of data, run millions of VMs a day, and process terabytes of data every hour.
Build web services to help users effectively interact with Sandbox.
Build tools to customize and analyze operating systems and hypervisors for malware analysis (Windows, Unix, Android, QEMU, etc.).
Qualifications
You are comfortable working asynchronously.
You are proficient with at least one back‑end language, preferably Go.
You have a proven track record of building high‑quality software (through past experience, projects or contributions).
You like to automate repetitive tasks.
It is a plus if you have experience with:
Linux
PostgreSQL
QEMU
Implementing RFCs and protocols
