Mission As a Relationship Manager in the Business Banking team at ING Bank, you will play a meaningful role in supporting entrepreneurs and driving the growth of local businesses. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their ambitions, offer thoughtful financial solutions, and help them navigate opportunities with confidence.

Your day to day You will focus on building strong, long‑term relationships with mid‑sized companies and supporting their financial growth. Your work will blend client advisory, portfolio development, and responsible risk assessment, helping businesses move forward with clarity and confidence.
Develop and maintain profitable business relationships while ensuring an excellent client experience
Manage a portfolio of mid‑sized companies (turnover above EUR 2 million) in Mureș and Harghita counties.
Represent and promote the ING brand within the local business community
Lead negotiations for setting up deals and credit facilities
Drive effective cross‑selling of ING products and solutions
Prepare indicative offers (current accounts, deposits, credit facilities, and more) in partnership with internal departments
Draft credit applications, including financial analysis and risk evaluation
Ensure compliance with all know‑your‑client procedures
Collaborate closely with Lending, Risk Management, Legal&Compliance, and ING Offices on business matters
Contribute to the implementation of the Business Banking branch marketing plan and monitor progress toward agreed objectives.
What you bring to the team You combine strong analytical thinking with a client‑driven mindset, allowing you to understand business needs and offer thoughtful, well‑structured financial solutions.
Advanced knowledge of financial analysis, credit structuring, and banking products
Strong knowledge of English; knowledge of another language, such as Hungarian, is a plus
University degree in finance or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Ability to build meaningful connections, negotiate effectively, and support client needs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; market awareness and networking abilities are highly valued
Adaptability, resilience, and the ability to navigate diverse situations and customer profiles
Collaborative working style and comfort working under pressure
Valid driving license
Strong time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize and monitor the progress of ongoing processes.
