Position As a Financial Accountant at scale-up Pulse4all, you will be part of a small but growing finance team (4p) and play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely financial records while helping build a scalable finance foundation as the company continues to expand across Europe. You will take ownership of key accounting processes, including the month-end close, and work closely with the Financial Controller on reporting, analysis and the continuous improvement of finance processes, internal controls, automation and optimisation of the recently implemented NetSuite ERP system.

Main responsibilities: Prepare and maintain reconciliations for accrued expenses, prepayments, deferred revenue, intercompany accounts and other balance sheet items Record monthly journal entries, including expense and revenue accruals, payroll journals and other adjusting entries Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, including depreciation postings and disposalsSupport the preparation and submission of VAT returns and related tax documentation Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Support audits by preparing schedules and providing the required documentation Contribute to the professionalisation and scaling of the finance function as the organisation grows, with exposure to subscription accounting, asset-based financing structures and multi-entity reportingProvide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to the broader organisation as required

Profile You are an accurate, reliable Financial Accountant with a solid grasp of accounting principles and are excited to work in a dynamic scale-up environment where your contribution truly matters. You thrive in a hands-on role and enjoy diving into the numbers while takingownership of the finance function. You have hands-on experience managing the full accounting cycle from A to Z, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, month-end closing, reporting, and statutory compliance. You enjoy solving puzzles, improving processes and building a solid financial foundation in a fast-growing scale-up. You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities evolve as the business scales.

You have: A bachelor, master or ACCA degree in business economics, finance or accounting A minimum of 5 years of GL experience Solid understanding of Dutch GAAP and IFRS (not yet needed now) Strong attention to detail An open, positive and proactive mindset; you are a real team player

You are: IT-savvy with experience in ERP systems, financial applications and data analysis Structured, analytical and process-oriented Driven to learn, take ownership and develop as the business grows Fluent in English; conversational Dutch is a plus

The finance team consists of a CFO, Financial Controller, AP Specialist and this role. The team works closely together and has office days on Tuesday and Thursday in their modern and comfortable office at EDGE Olympic, a five-minute minute walk from Metro Amstelveenseweg.
