About the role:

Are you a pragmatic, execution-focused cybersecurity professional who thrives on turning security strategies into reality? We are looking for a Cybersecurity Operations&ISMS Project Lead to act as the right hand to our Cyber Security Manager.

This is not a purely advisory or high-level consulting role. You will have true ownership over daily security operations, lead critical technical projects end-to-end, and co-own our Information Security Management System (ISMS) alongside our regional terminals and sites. Your mission will be to ensure consistent control implementation, robust risk reduction, and continuous audit readiness across all organizational locations.

Daily Security Operations&Remediation Execution Action Ownership: Take total ownership of security findings, vulnerability reports, and incident follow-ups, driving remediation efforts and tracking actions all the way to closure. Operational Monitoring: Collaborate closely with internal teams and external security partners to monitor our infrastructure, investigate anomalies, and ensure swift response protocols.Process Alignment: Translate complex security requirements into actionable, daily tasks for local operations teams.

End-to-End Security Project Management Infrastructure Hardening: Lead and execute targeted security initiatives, including system hardening, secure connectivity, and network segmentation across our strategic hubs. Identity&Access Management: Drive improvements in our IAM frameworks, ensuring robust access controls and governance. Tooling Implementation: Evaluate, deploy, and optimize modern security tools and software to elevate our overall defense posture.

ISMS Maintenance&Site Collaboration Joint Ownership: Partner directly with local terminal and site leads to maintain, update, and mature our ISMS framework. Continuous Readiness: Establish regular communication cadences to gather evidence, manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and foster a culture of continuous security improvement.Audit&Risk Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing crisp, structured documentation, clear metrics, and visible proof of risk reduction progress.

About you:

We have the following requirements for this position: Experience: 4 to 7 years of proven experience working within cybersecurity or information security environments, specifically demonstrating a strong balance of hands-on technical execution and project coordination. Mindset&Communication: A highly operational, proactive mindset. You are someone who loves to organize, document clearly, and communicate security priorities effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Career Stability: A track record of dedication and long-term professional relationships. We value sustainable growth and are looking for someone who prefers building deep roots in an organization over short-term“job hopping” every few years.Framework Knowledge (Plus): Direct experience working with ISMS frameworks or ISO 27001 standards is highly valued, though not strictly mandatory if you have the right operational and compliance mindset. Fluency in English and preferable in Dutch or German. No hesitation for frequent travelling to the European terminals (Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Malta) of our customer.
