Freelance Embedded Software Engineer– High-Tech / MedTech / Semiconductor Amoria Bond | Netherlands (Hybrid / On-site depending on project)

Netherlands 6–12 Month Contract Freelance Only

We are currently supporting multiple key clients within the

High-Tech, Semiconductor, MedTech, and Industrial Automation sectors

across the Netherlands. Due to ongoing product development and upcoming project ramp-ups starting

June / July , they are looking to engage experienced

Freelance Embedded Software Engineers

to support critical development activities within their R&D teams. This is a hands-on engineering role in highly technical environments where quality, performance, and reliability are essential.

Your Responsibilities Develop embedded software in

C / C++ Work on

real-time embedded systems (RTOS and/or bare metal environments) Develop and integrate software on

microcontroller and/or embedded Linux platforms Perform debugging, testing, and performance optimisation close to hardware Work with hardware and system engineers on end-to-end product development Implement and support industrial communication protocols (e.g. CAN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet) Contribute to full lifecycle development from design to validation

Your Profile Proven experience in

Embedded Software Engineering or Firmware Development Strong programming skills in

C / C++ Experience with

RTOS and/or Embedded Linux (Yocto, Buildroot is a plus) Strong understanding of hardware-software interaction Experience in high-tech, automotive, MedTech, or semiconductor environments Available for a

freelance / interim assignment in the Netherlands Freelance / self-employed status required Available from

June or July (flexible start possible)
