We are KRAFTON– a collective of independent game development studios brought together to create innovative and engaging entertainment experiences for gamers across the world.
Since the release of our flagship title– PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS – in 2017, it has become one of the highest-selling video games of all time with over 70 million copies sold.
The EU Publishing team, based in Amsterdam, is part of KRAFTON’s West Publishing Services (WPS) department. The team drives awareness, player acquisition, and community engagement across key European markets for KRAFTON’s IP portfolio. Core functions include creator marketing, performance marketing, and local market strategy.
We are now looking for a senior, hands‑on Director for DACH to join our EU Publishing team in Amsterdam and take full ownership of one of our most strategic European markets. You will lead high‑impact influencer campaigns, manage agency partners, and shape our local go‑to‑market strategies to directly connect KRAFTON’s iconicportfolio with millions of German‑speaking players.
Basic Roles and Responsibilities
Lead planning, execution, and performance reporting for influencer and content creator campaigns in the DACH market
Contribute to the local publishing strategy for the DACH market, including go‑to‑market planning, market assessment, and release readiness
Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with gaming creators in the German market across YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and Instagram
Develop campaign briefs, creator communication materials, and activation plans aligned with global publishing direction
Manage agency partners and creator networks operating in the DACH region
Coordinate with EU MarCom, EU Creative, and HQ teams to integrate creator activities into broader publishing plans
Track and report campaign KPIs, including reach, engagement, conversion, and earned media value
Provide market intelligence and recommendations on the German gaming landscape to inform publishing decisions
Oversee the localisation of creator‑facing and publishing materials for the German market
Required experience
Native German speaker with professional working proficiency in English
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus
Significant experience in influencer and content creator marketing and game publishing, with a focus on the German‑speaking market
Proven track record of leading creator campaigns for game titles across launch and always‑on phases at a senior level
Demonstrated experience in game publishing functions, including go‑to‑market planning, local market strategy, and cross‑functional coordination
Deep knowledge of the German gaming creator ecosystem, including key platforms, talent agencies, and audience behaviour
Experience managing creator relationships directly and through agency partners
Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to translate performance data into actionable recommendations
Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, lead senior‑level workstreams, and influence cross‑functional stakeholders
Nice to have experience
Prior experience in a director‑level DACH‑focused role at a game publisher, developer, or gaming agency
Existing network of gaming creators, talent representatives, and publishing contacts in the German market
Experience owning the local publishing strategy end‑to‑end, beyond campaign execution
Familiarity with the full game publishing lifecycle across pre‑launch, launch, and post‑launch phases
Knowledge of EU and German advertising disclosure requirements for creator content
Experience with market intelligence tools such as GameDiscoverCo, SteamDB, or similar platforms
