Overview

Senior In-Store HR Administrator for the Rotterdam Lijnbaan store. The role is based in-store and focuses on HR and administrative tasks, recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll, employee relations, policy communication, and related activities. Reports to the Store and Area Managers with a dotted line to the HR Business Partner, working with the in-store management team and the wider HR community.Responsibilities

Ensure each stage of the employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, contracts, variations, etc.) is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Handle employee data with strict confidentiality and maintain up-to-date records on all systems (e.g., right to work documents, employment paperwork, attendance) in compliance with GDPR.Ensure compliance with Dutch employment legislation at the store level. Monitor daily timesheets and manage the payroll process with attention to detail to ensure pay is accurate. Manage recruitment with Store Managers in direct communication with candidates—screen applicants, interview, extend offers, and issue contracts.Deliver smooth induction and training for new starters. Collaborate with Store Managers to ensure staffing meets daily operational needs by monitoring rota, holidays, and attendance. Support store management on staff development and workforce planning. Provide independent guidance to managers and employees on straightforward employee relation matters.Support data analysis to identify trends and drive improvements. Be the first point of contact for payroll, contract, holiday, and other HR-related questions. Contribute to building a positive and inclusive store culture and evolve with courage. Skills, Experience and Attributes

Previous experience in an HR generalist/admin role within a retail environment with a Human Resources degree. Fluent Dutch and English. Good knowledge of HR policies and best practices with hands-on experience in managing ER cases. Strong understanding of payroll processes. Passion for retail and understanding of how the sector operates.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills. Effective communication across multiple levels and stores. Discreet, approachable, and trusted with confidential information. Can-do attitude and willingness to learn. Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Benefits
