Enterprise Integration Architect - Hybrid, APIs&Innovation, Amsterdam

We are looking for an Integration Architect for a client in the banking industry in the Netherlands. The role is focused on shaping and improving enterprise-wide integration solutions within a modern and evolving integration landscape. You will work within a highly collaborative integration environment, helping teams design scalable and secure integration solutions while driving standardization, innovation, and best practices across the organization.Your Job Lead and review enterprise integration architecture solutions Promote integration standards, SOA principles, and reusable patterns Ensure quality, compliance, and governance across APIs and integrations Monitor new integration technologies and AI-driven developments Improve integration processes and support teams with architectural expertiseCollaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable and future-proof solutions Your Profile Proven experience in architecture development and integration consultancy Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, Events, MCP, and API design principles Experience with Domain-Driven Design, REST modelling, and Event StreamingKnowledge of API Gateways, OAS, XML, WSDL, mTLS, and OAuth Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills Analytical, proactive, and collaborative mindset with focus on quality standards Nice to have Experience within large enterprise or banking environments Knowledge of emerging AI-driven integration patternsExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments We Offer Hybrid working environment Competitive salary based on experience on 36H/week Our Client Our client is a leading financial institution in the Netherlands, focused on innovation, digital transformation, and scalable enterprise integration solutions.
