Freelance Senior Information Security Officer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Information Security Officer to support and strengthen a growing security and compliance function within a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities Support the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of security and compliance frameworks Contribute to regulatory initiatives, including DORA and SIRA compliance activities Manage and respond to security assessments and requests from vendors, suppliers, and third partiesSupport the implementation of operational security changes and ongoing enhancements Assist with security governance and risk management during mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration activities Play a key role in strengthening and scaling the broader information security function Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements within a controlled financial environment, including DNB compliance

Required Experience&Skills Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Information Security, Governance, Risk&Compliance (GRC), or related security roles Strong understanding of security compliance frameworks and regulatory standards Solid technical foundation with a good grasp of security operations and controls Proven experience managing third-party risk, including working with vendors and suppliersExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills within regulated environments
