Systems Architect– SoC / Hardware-Software Co-Design
We are currently partnered with a rapidly growing semiconductor company developing next-generation secure embedded technologies. They are seeking a Systems Architect to define and lead the end-to-end architecture for highly secure, performance-critical embedded platforms spanning hardware, FPGA, and software domains.
**This role is full time on-site**
Key responsibilities Define end-to-end system architecture for embedded products, spanning board-level hardware, FPGA data/control planes, and embedded software stacks Translate customer and product requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance system-level designs Lead hardware/software partitioning decisions to optimise performance, latency, power efficiency, and security constraintsEmbed security-by-design principles across the full system, including secure boot, hardware root of trust, key management, and encrypted communications
Key requirements Proven experience in system architecture for embedded, secure, or networking-focused products Strong background in embedded systems and hardware/software co-design principles Deep understanding of secure system design methodologies and threat modelling techniques Ability to work across full technology stacks, including hardware platforms, FPGA/MCU/ASIC systems, and embedded software layersStrong system-level thinking with ability to balance performance, power, and security trade-offs Experience working in complex, cross-functional engineering environments
