Cluster HR and L&D Internship - September 2026, Amsterdam

Your day to day:

Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding process— from preparing offer letters and contracts to welcoming new colleagues on their first day

Maintaining accurate and confidential personnel files and HR records

Organizing social events and celebrating team milestones such as birthdays, promotions, and achievements

Being a go-to contact for our team members, offering support and a listening ear when needed

Supporting Learning&Development activities— from assisting with L&D administration and daily tasks to helping organize and coordinate internal trainings and workshops

Managing internal communication, keeping everyone informed about what’s happening in both hotels

Delivering onboarding presentations and helping introduce new team members to the IHG, voco®, and Crowne Plaza culture

Conducting or assisting with internship and job interviews, gaining hands‑on recruitment experience

Taking charge of our“Host of the Quarter” recognition event and other appreciation initiatives

Supporting the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and preparing documentation

Collaborating with different departments and seeing firsthand how HR supports and impacts every stage of the employee journey

Ready to land this internship?

The internship is part of your school program

You speak and write fluently in Dutch and English

You have a positive, can‑do attitude and enjoy working with people

Good communication and organizational skills

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Opera is a plus

A well‑groomed and professional appearance that represents our brand with confidence
