Operations manager - strategic delivery&operations, Amsterdam

As Operations Manager, you play a central role in improving how our organization operates and scales. You ensure teams can deliver smoothly and efficiently, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve workflows, collaboration, planning, and operational effectiveness across the agency.

You combine operational ownership with a strategic mindset. You understand how delivery, staffing, workflows, utilization, and ways of working directly impact team performance, client satisfaction, and business growth.

Working closely with Client Leads, Expert Leads, and management, you help create a scalable operational foundation that supports both today’s delivery and tomorrow’s ambitions.

What you’ll do

Oversee and improve operational workflows and ways of working across the agency

Take ownership of agency-wide capacity planning and resource allocation

Ensure teams are staffed effectively across projects, priorities, and peak moments

Maintain operational oversight across teams and help align planning, priorities, and delivery

Support Client Leads with utilization, productivity, and operational challenges

Identify bottlenecks and translate operational insights into practical improvements

Drive initiatives that improve collaboration, predictability, and operational scalability

Help professionalize operational processes, reporting, and planning structures

Support the implementation of tooling, automation, and AI solutions that improve efficiency and scalability

Act as a connector between Client Leads, Expert Leads, and management to ensure alignment across teams

Contribute to operational decision‑making and help prioritize initiatives with the highest business impact

What we’re looking for You are someone who enjoys improving how organizations work. You combine structure, analytical thinking, and strong people skills with a pragmatic, hands‑on mindset.

You know how to balance day‑to‑day operational execution with longer‑term improvement and scalability.

Experience in operations, business operations, delivery management, or resource management within a fast‑moving organization or agency environment

Strong skills in capacity planning, workflow optimization, and operational coordination

The ability to identify operational improvements and drive them from idea to execution

Strong organizational awareness and understanding of how operational decisions impact delivery, teams, and business performance

Experience working across multiple stakeholders and functions

Affinity with automation, tooling, and AI‑driven workflows

A proactive, structured, and solution‑oriented mindset

The ability to stay calm, organized, and effective in a dynamic environment
