Overview

The Retail field sales team is a core part of Dyson’s Benelux Sales Department. We are looking for a dynamic, driven candidate who has experience as a people manager and wants to expand and develop their commercial leadership skills. As an Area Manager you will drive product sales through your team of Experts, enhancing awareness of the Dyson brand within retailer stores. You will work closely with ambassadors and account management, retail activation, and marketing teams to deliver Dyson’s sales strategy in your area.Region

The role is for the Netherlands North region, ideally located in the central area surrounding Amsterdam. The region consists of approximately 35 points of sale and 10–14 direct reports. Key Responsibilities

Drive sales growth in your region. Own Sell‑Out performance: analyse weekly sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and define clear short‑ and long‑term actions. Present weekly Sell‑Out results within your area. Increase Dyson sales sustainably. Lead performance management, motivation and capability of Teams of Experts to meet sales targets.Conduct focused and regular store visits to coach and develop your team. Conduct meaningful 1:1 sessions, hold development discussions and act on outcomes. Coach on the job, mentor and train direct reports. Liaise with Retail operations and activations to ensure execution excellence. Conduct in‑store training sessions with demonstrators, especially for new product launches.Maintain operational excellence: merchandize stores with point‑of‑sale materials, ensure displays are clean, tidy and shoppable. Build and maintain effective relationships with store CCOs, department managers, Regional Operational Managers and key influencers. Build and manage a virtual team of Dyson Ambassadors within retailer staff.Conduct product training of all Sales Associates, Department Managers and Store Managers through spontaneous and pre‑booked sessions. Qualifications

Native Dutch proficiency. Commercially driven. Excellent leadership skills. Target‑driven experience. Excellent interpersonal skills for cross‑departmental collaboration. High level of PC skills, including all Microsoft Office programs. Excellent organisational and planning ability. Self‑motivated and an exceptional team player.Strong analytical ability. Benefits
