Set common goals with the contractor(s). Create an open culture with the contractor. Address mutual risks, ensure flexibility and feasibility for the contractor while adhering to TenneT's requirements and standards. Support the project team and Procurement in defining contracting strategy and advise/execution of MEAT criteria.If necessary, support processing and enforcement of counterclaims/own claims. Participate in the drafting of contracts, examination of contracts/specifications, and support of contract negotiations. Coordinate and align with the other contract managers. Ensure the uniform interpretation of contractual clauses and treatment of claims and implementation of lessons learned from other projects.Regularly report to the responsible overall project managers (PD/FPD). Support project management and purchasing for contractual issues and correspondence (externally as well as internally). Interface to the Asset Management, Claim Management, Supply Chain Management, and the Legal Department. Support the team on contractual issues, risks and opportunities, and assist in the identification, capture, analysis, and tracking of project risks.Your profile and background
Minimum 6 years of experience as a Contract Manager for major construction projects. Verifiable experience in the Offshore business. Verifiable experience with FIDIC. Legal and/or Commercial and/or Technical background/university degree. Open and transparent (to-the-point) in communication. Additional information
