Functiebeschrijving As a Key Account Manager Automotive at voestalpine Automotive Components in Bunschoten, you are fully accountable for the commercial performance of a portfolio of strategic key accounts, representing an annual turnover of approximately€50–60 million.
This is not a transactional sales role. You will focus on building, developing and safeguarding long-term, high-value international partnerships. Acting as a trusted advisor, you engage with stakeholders at all levels from operational teams to executive leadership and ensure alignment across the entire value chain.
You oversee the full commercial lifecycle, from quotation and negotiation through to delivery and performance evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive strategic key accounts, acting as the primary and trusted point of contact
Build strong, long-term client relationships while safeguarding contractual and commercial agreements
Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions, in close alignment with Sales, the Head of Sales&Marketing, and executive management
Orchestrate the end-to-end order process, ensuring seamless coordination across internal departments
Align and connect internal stakeholders, driving cross-functional collaboration to deliver on shared objectives
Identify market trends and customer developments, translating insights into commercial opportunities and strategic partnerships
Uw profiel
Bachelor’s degree level (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of experience in a commercial, consultative role
Proven experience within automotive or a strong affinity with technical and industrial environments
A credible and confident communicator, capable of building trust-based relationships at all levels
Structured, ownership-driven and able to distinguish priorities effectively
Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands‑on approach to execution
Based in the Netherlands, fluent in both German and English; Dutch is a plus
Proficient with MS Office and SAP, or quick to adapt to new systems and automation tools
