Als onderdeel van de internationale groep RelyOn Nutec werken wij in een dynamische en internationale omgeving.Ter versterking van onze Finance afdeling zoeken wij een (Senior) Financial Controller die energie krijgt van een brede rol met zowel financial control, operational finance als procesverbetering.
Je werkt nauw samen met de CFO, het lokale management en de internationale finance organisatie.
Jouw rol Als (Senior) Financial Controller ben je verantwoordelijk voor het bewaken en verbeteren van de financiële processen, rapportages en compliance binnen Simwave. Je fungeert als belangrijke financiële sparringpartner voor zowel de lokale organisatie als de groep.
Jouw verantwoordelijkheden Financial Control&Reporting·
Opstellen van maand-, kwartaal- en jaarrapportages·
Verzorgen van tijdige en correcte groepsrapportages·
Ondersteunen van financiële audits en zorgen voor audit readiness ·
Monitoren van financiële prestaties en management voorzien van inzichten
Operational Finance·
Toezicht houden op het accounts receivable proces (en indien nodig accounts payable)·
Verantwoordelijk voor order entry en revenue recognition processen·
Zorgen voor een betrouwbare financiële administratie en interne beheersing ·
Verbeteren van financiële processen en systemen
Compliance&Governance·
Waarborgen van naleving van interne policies en groepsrichtlijnen·
Versterken van interne controles en documentatie·
Coördineren met externe adviseurs en auditors ·
Optreden als finance partner voor lokaal management en group finance·
Ondersteunen van budgettering, forecasting en planning·
Signaleren van kansen voor efficiency en schaalbaarheid
Wie wij zoeken Iemand met:·
HBO/Bachelor opleiding in Accountancy, Finance of Bedrijfseconomie (of vergelijkbaar)·
Minimaal 3 jaar relevante werkervaring als Financial Controller, Business Controller of vergelijkbare functie·
Goede kennis van financiële rapportage en interne controles ·
Ervaring met internationale rapportage of een groepsstructuur·
Hands-on mentaliteit en bereidheid om ook operationeel mee te werken·
Sterke analytische en organisatorische vaardigheden·
Goede beheersing van de Engelse taal

As part of the RelyOn Nutec group, we operate internationally and support maritime professionals around the world.
To strengthen our Finance team, we are looking for a (Senior) Financial Controller who enjoys working in a dynamic, international environment and wants to contribute to the continued growth and professionalization of our organization.
This is a hands-on finance role in which you combine financial control, operational finance, and process improvement. You will work closely with the CFO, local management, and the group finance team
Your role As (Senior) Financial Controller, you are responsible for overseeing and improving Simwave’s financial operations, reporting, and compliance environment. You will act as a key financial partner locally and toward the group.
Your responsibilities
Financial Control&Reporting·
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and business reports·
Deliver accurate and timely group reporting packages·
Support financial audits and ensure audit readiness·
Monitor financial performance and provide insights to management
Operational Finance
·
Oversee the accounts receivable process (and accounts payable when required)·
Take ownership of order entry and revenue recognition processes·
Ensure a reliable financial administration and strong internal controls·
Identify and implement improvements in finance processes and systems
Compliance&Governance·
Ensure compliance with internal policies and group standards·
Strengthen internal controls and documentation·
Coordinate with external advisors and auditors where required·
Act as finance partner to local management and group finance·
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes·
Identify opportunities for efficiency and scalability
Who we are looking for Someone with:·
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent qualification) ·
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as Financial Controller, Business Controller, or similar·
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and internal controls·
Experience working in an international or group reporting environment·
Hands-on mentality and willingness to be operationally involved·
Strong analytical and organizational skills·
Professional proficiency in English
