Your mission The Warehouse Team Leader will manage and coordinate the team to ensure that daily production targets are met and orders from our clients are fully satisfied to the highest quality and standards.
Your role and functions
Working with operations department and our client to ensure all order requirements are met to the highest quality and standards.
Manage the workload of the warehouse personnel with the Production Supervisor to ensure that orders are dispatched to meet the client´s agreements, requirements and time schedule production.
Oversee the replenishment, location, rotation and management of stock, recording and monitoring the stock or assets of a business on a day-to-day basis.
Train new warehouse operators (flex and perm) in their daily duties to ensure quick adaptation to team and reduction of the learning curve.
Communicate any quality, technical, machine or Health&Safety issues to the relevant department.
Assist in the development of new systems to help with overall efficiencies and stock monitoring.
Seek and drive actions for a continuous improvement environment.
Ensure all operators are working in a safe and clean environment– promote a Health&Safety, quality-focused and driven culture within the operation.
Requirements
Familiarity working in warehouse/production environments
At least 2 years of Team management experience
Proactive Health and Safety awareness / enforcement
Common sense problem-solving attitude
Flexible and open to learn mindset
Experience with stock control, order allocation, inventory management
Dutch proficiency (desirable)
Familiarity with SAP and WMS software will be considered as desirable
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Operational Excellence is a plus
