Then the position of Freight Forwarder at DSV is perfect for you!

Responsibilities

Arrange transport shipments quickly and efficiently, ensuring the correct and timely delivery of goods.

Efficiently plan truck loads (FTL, LTL, groupage) to achieve the highest possible load factor.

Monitor shipments in real time and respond proactively to safety issues.

Negotiate rates for purchased transport.

Proactively communicate and inform customers and partners; follow up on shipments and identify irregularities regarding loading, unloading, or delivery.

What You Bring

A degree in transport and logistics is an advantage, but passion for the field is far more important.

Some experience in planning or coordinating transport, e.g., as a freight forwarder, transport planner, or supply chain coordinator.

Good command of Dutch is a plus. Proficiency in English is a must.

Proficiency with MS Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
