Key Account Manager– Venlo, DSV As a Key Account Manager, you combine commercial insight with relationship management and work every day on revenue growth, new opportunities, and customer satisfaction within an international organization.

Responsibilities

Actively develop and manage your own customer portfolio in the South‑East Netherlands region.

Identify commercial opportunities and translate them into successful deals.

Visit customers, from existing clients to new prospects, and translate their needs into smart solutions.

Work closely with operational managers to deliver customer‑focused, tailor‑made solutions.

Create account plans and gather relevant market information to validate strategies.

Ensure all account information is accurately recorded in sales information systems, enabling the right insights and supporting decision‑making.

Prepare and follow up on account plans, quotations, and quarterly business reviews to realize the commercial strategy.

Collect and analyze market information to validate account plans and identify opportunities.

Maintain strong customer relationships and manage stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (HBO level), preferably in a commercial field.

Experience in an external commercial/sales role, preferably within transport or logistics.

Excellent command of Dutch and English.

Strong commercial insight and the drive to combine customer satisfaction with revenue growth.

Proactive, results‑driven, and able to work independently.
