Operational Laboratory Manager, Boxmeer

What you’ll do

Lead daily lab operations and ensure the delivery of fast, accurate analytical results

Coach, develop, and empower lab technicians while building a strong, collaborative team culture

Solve challenges with analysts and department leads, shaping continuous improvement across the lab

Optimize outsourcing decisions to balance quality, turnaround time, and cost

Uphold regulatory standards (GLP, ISO) through consistent SOP implementation

Monitor KPIs, manage escalations, and translate feedback into improvement initiatives

Innovate: from refining workflows and technologies to developing and validating new analytical methods

Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet workload fluctuations.

What you’ll bring

BSc or MSc in life sciences, analytical/biological chemistry, or related field

5+ years in operational laboratory work, including 2+ years in a leadership role

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Hands‑on experience with analytical techniques such as Chromatography and ICP

Fluent in Dutch and English

Systematic, accurate, and highly collaborative working style

Comfortable using digital tools and learning new systems

Proactive, self‑driven, and results‑oriented
