Field Service Engineer - Control Systems, Boxmeer

Field Service Engineer Control Systems Install and maintain our machines at customers, ensuring satisfaction through preparation, execution, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Prepare and execute the controls (electrical cabinets, software, PLC) part of installation jobs.

Conduct service visits.

Troubleshoot production issues at customers’ sites.

Manage local employees in larger installation projects.

Keep in touch with, and report to the customer about progress.

Train the customer and provide feedback to colleagues.

Work with experienced coworkers at the customer site and office who share knowledge about our machines.

Travel and Scheduling You will travel globally (~50‑60%) and will be away from home regularly. We provide a clear project schedule that takes holidays, birthdays, and weekend trips into account.

Training and Development

Prepare for upcoming projects and report on completed projects.

Participate in personal and technical training, both in the office and on the job.

Attend regular meetings with your manager and team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a vocational degree with several years of relevant experience.

Experience with electrical cabinet rebuild, software installation/configuration, and/or PLC troubleshooting.

Knowledge of Microsoft Server and SQL databases is an advantage.

Affinity with process engineering and/or food production is also a plus.

Good command of English.

Relevant EU travel and work documents.

Willingness to travel internationally (~50‑60%).
