You will be part of an international organization of approximately 70 colleagues spread across Denmark, Germany, Scotland, and the Netherlands, and you will work closely with a multidisciplinary core team of engineers, specialists, and stakeholders based in the Netherlands.
Your role is highly hands‑on and operational, focused on day‑to‑day project execution, coordination, and decision‑making in a complex machine‑building environment. If you thrive in a technical setting, enjoy structure and ownership, and are energized by managing multiple moving parts at the same time, this role offers a high level of responsibility and impact.
What You Will Do, Day-to-Day Your daily work as Project Manager typically includes:
Managing multiple parallel projects across different machine platforms and customer configurations
Translating business and customer requirements into clear project scopes, plans, and milestones
Planning and coordinating activities across mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, and supply chain disciplines
Leading project meetings, stand‑ups, and technical alignment sessions with internal stakeholders
Monitoring project progress, risks, dependencies, costs, and capacity, and proactively steering where needed
Acting as the primary point of contact for project status, priorities, and decision‑making
Ensuring alignment with the Product Development Process (PDP), quality standards, and safety regulations
Managing change requests and their impact on scope, timeline, cost, and technical feasibility
Supporting issue resolution by facilitating technical discussions and trade‑off decisions
Ensuring timely availability of documentation, specifications, and deliverables for manufacturing and delivery
Reporting project progress, risks, and outcomes to management in a clear and structured way
What kind of person are you? You will recognize in yourself that you possess a combination of technical understanding, strong organizational skills, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Hard Skills&Experience

PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable
Proven experience as a Project Manager or Lead Engineer in a technical, machine‑building, or industrial solutions environment
Strong understanding of multidisciplinary systems involving mechanical, electrical, and software components
Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2) and practical experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6)
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, system architecture, and engineering documentation
Experience coordinating international teams and suppliers is a strong advantage
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Additional language skills (e.g., Dutch, German) are a strong asset.
Soft Skills&Mindset
Strong ownership mentality with the ability to drive progress without formal authority
Excellent planning and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Clear, concise, and confident communication across technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Natural connector who can align different disciplines toward a common goal
Decisive and pragmatic, with the ability to balance technical depth, time, cost, and risk
Resilient under pressure and comfortable operating in a dynamic, changing environment
Structured thinker with attention to detail to maintain focus on the bigger picture
Collaborative team player who builds trust and transparency across the organization
