Industrial Refrigeration Design Engineer Location&Contract

Boxmeer, Netherlands– project contract with the prospect of permanent employment, full‑time, hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week). Responsibilities

Support the Sales and Solutions teams with specialist knowledge of Marel’s refrigeration solutions. Create and maintain documentation used by the sales team to explain Marel’s vision and solutions for poultry cooling. Calculate client‑specific refrigeration designs using the design tools developed by the refrigeration engineering team.Collect information on products, market and competitors to better position Marel’s products and processes for the customer and to generate new business opportunities. Identify opportunities for new or improved product‑market combinations (PMC’s) for poultry cooling. Play an active role in the identification, development, validation and launch of relevant PMC’s.Maintain an internal and external network to ensure the required knowledge level. Travel to customer sites as requested to assess actual cooling needs and explain Marel solutions. Work 3 days per week onsite at the office. Qualifications

Technical HBO or WO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physics, Food Technology, or a related field. HBO+ level of education and readiness to step into a specialist role. Strong interest in refrigeration technology and foundational experience in industrial refrigeration. Completed Post‑HBO Refrigeration course or willingness to complete it in the near future.Ability to take responsibility, navigate work without fixed instructions, and work independently. Good written and spoken English; willingness to learn Dutch to at least C2 level. Proactive and team‑oriented mindset. Benefits
