To support our continued growth, we are looking for an

Insurance Coordinator

who will take ownership of our insurance portfolio and claims handling processes.

This is a varied role with a lot of responsibility and room for initiative. You will work closely with different departments and external partners to make sure our vessels, operations, and people are well protected.

What will you do? As Insurance Coordinator, you are the go-to person for everything related to insurance and claims. You make sure claims are handled smoothly from start to finish and help us stay ahead when it comes to risk management and compliance.

Your responsibilities

Managing our P&I and Hull&Machinery insurance portfolio

Following up on insurance coverage, policy conditions, and renewals

Coordinating claims from first notification until final settlement

Collect and preparing claim documentation

Staying in close contact with insurers, brokers, surveyors, and legal partners

Monitoring deadlines and ensuring compliance with insurance requirements

Reporting claim progress and risk exposure to management

Helping improve internal processes and risk prevention measures

Supporting Green Award certifications and sustainability compliance

Assisting with fuel order processing and cost monitoring

Who are we looking for? You are organized, hands‑on, and enjoy taking ownership. You can easily switch between operational follow-up and strategic thinking, and you communicate confidently with different stakeholders.

Your profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience

Background in Maritime, Insurance, Business Administration, or similar

At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the maritime sector

Experience with P&I and Hull&Machinery insurance is a plus

Good understanding of insurance processes and policy wording

Fluent in English, Dutch and/or German are a plus.

Strong communication and organizational skills

Detail‑oriented, proactive, and solution‑driven
