We are looking for a Brand Manager for our HAE portfolio. The role reports to the Head of Marketing BeNeLux and can be based in Breda, Netherlands or Mechelen, Belgium.
Position Purpose
Lead the development and execution of strategic plans in close collaboration with the business team (cross‑functional team), including in‑depth analyses of the market and in line with the overall Benelux and international strategy.
Develop and execute initiatives/campaigns as part of the tactical plan to achieve commercial success in terms of value and volume.
Bring the brand story to life through innovative, patient‑centric marketing campaigns and materials that you will design and implement.
Develop the digital multichannel marketing strategy by proposing, testing, and adapting new channels to reinforce customer interaction and satisfaction.
Drive and challenge these initiatives as a lead in strategic and operational aspects.
Ensure brand advocates involvement.
Seek new business opportunities and optimise partnerships with GPOs to develop the total market and market share of our products.
Work closely together with Medical Advisor, Key Account Managers and Market Access Manager.
Actively contribute to the hospital market by providing promotional materials, ensuring success in execution of the collaboration and preparation of RFQ’s (or tenders).
Develop and execute (pre‑)marketing activities for new product launch.
Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing activities and promotional budget to enhance a culture of excellence.
Work closely together with all other departments to guarantee execution of the strategic plan in line with compliance requirements.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Prepare, in collaboration with the business team, the local vision on short‑ and mid‑term strategy and tactical implementation. Present those plans to the Head of Marketing Benelux, the BNL Management Team and be accountable for sales, profit and market shares achieved.
Inspire and motivate all internal stakeholders, especially the KAMs, about the vision, the strategy, and the marketing action plan. Make sure that every department takes its responsibility and respects timelines to execute the plan.
Pro‑actively anticipate and manage market changes by analysing impact of market events, sales performance indicators, public tenders and by collecting customers insights and competitive intelligence. Align strategy and execution of tactical plan with continuously changing environment.
Develop and reinforce preferred partnerships with key opinion leaders, nurses and patient organisations to gain valuable insights, to engage brand advocates and to bring patient‑centric campaigns and multichannel approach alive.
Develop and maintain strong relationships within the tender market, including hospital pharmacists, hospital financial direction, buyers and other policy formers to optimally develop the portfolio.
Disseminate a culture of operational excellence by integrating the values into all marketing campaigns (patient focus, collaboration, superior performance, innovation, integrity).
Take accountability for an accurate rolling forecast to guarantee at all moments supply to the clients and to strengthen our image as a reliable partner.
Follow‑up of revenue and promotional expenses, combined with analyses on return on investment to drive company success.
Prepare and propose the positioning and strategy for price and reimbursement of newly registered and existing products. Provide support in the Market Access process, including market analysis, cost analysis, patient segmentation.
Act accordingly to the current EU GDP/GMP guidelines and the local Standard Operating Procedures in which he/she is involved.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Graduate degree or equivalent required. Postgraduate business qualification preferred. Scientific degree is an asset.
Experience: at least 5 years of relevant commercial expertise in the healthcare industry.
Successful experience in Hospital Business and/or orphan drugs/rare diseases is an additional advantage.
Digital marketing knowledge and experience.
Fluent in Dutch, French and English (spoken and written).
