Asset Manager
to join their growing energy infrastructure development team. In this role, you will oversee the performance, lifecycle planning, compliance, risk management, and commercial optimisation of battery storage assets. Responsibilities
Performance Management:
Monitor battery storage asset operations to ensure maximum performance and efficiency while identifying and addressing underperformance.
Lifecycle Planning:
Develop short-term and long-term plans for asset lifecycle management, including monitoring maintenance schedules, upgrades, replacements, and end-of-life strategies.
Compliance Management:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines across all operations.
Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring operational resilience and continuity.
Commercial Optimisation:
Analyse market trends and optimise revenue by leveraging opportunities in energy trading, storage utilisation, and other commercial frameworks.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, external contractors, and regulators to ensure smooth and effective management of battery storage assets.
Data and Reporting:
Develop and deliver timely operational and financial performance reports to key stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Technology Innovation:
Stay updated on the latest technological developments in energy storage and actively integrate innovative solutions to improve asset performance and value.
Qualifications Essential
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, energy management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Proven experience in asset management, preferably within energy storage, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors.
Strong understanding of battery storage systems, performance metrics, and operational best practices.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the renewable energy industry.
Expertise in risk assessment, financial modelling, and commercial operations.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Proficiency with asset management software and tools.
