SUPERVISOR ACTIVITIES WELL PREPARED (volunteer), Bussum

Supervisor Activities Well Prepared (volunteer) Red Cross volunteers help people in need with more than 30,000 volunteers, both locally and abroad. We focus on emergency situations as well as prevention and education, giving people the knowledge and skills to protect themselves.

As a Supervisor of the "Well Prepared" activities you will coordinate and facilitate projects aimed at teaching vulnerable groups—children up to 12, migrants, and the elderly—to stay safe in emergency situations.

Responsibilities

You organize the process around one or more "Well Prepared" activities.

You bring together participants, coordinate and facilitate meetings, and serve as the main contact for volunteer support.

You maintain close contact with participants to monitor progress.

At the end of each activity you arrange an evaluation and, if necessary, a follow‑up plan.

Qualifications

Strong empathy, patience, and affinity with the target groups.

Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

Alignment with the Red Cross principles and readiness to represent the organization.

Affinity with the theme "Well Prepared" and "Safety".

Quick ability to create a social map of a neighbourhood.

Knowledge of other local (relief) organisations.

Good sense of personal limits and self‑management.

Availability for an average of four hours a week, with flexibility in the start‑up phase.
