Field Engineer Trainee

to join their team in Coevorden. The Field Engineer Trainee will support the Well Construction Fluids– Cementing team in the Netherlands. Working alongside experienced engineers and field supervisors, you will gain practical exposure to the design and execution of cementing jobs, helping ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations at well sites.Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Assist engineers and field supervisors in the design and execution of cementing jobs Support preparation of technical deliverables, job programs, and final reports Participate in job planning, risk analysis, and quality reviews Contribute to data collection and reporting from wellsite activitiesObserve and assist in implementing HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and procedures Engage in on-the-job learning of cementing technology, equipment, and operational processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth service delivery Candidate Profile for Field Engineer TraineeMust be fluent in German and English, both written and spoken Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (graduates of 2025 or expected graduates in 2026) Strong technical foundation with interest in well construction and field operations Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skillsWillingness to work in an international, field-based environment Valid right to work in the Netherlands for the full internship duration Flexibility to travel within the Netherlands and surrounding countries High motivation to pursue a career in energy technology and field engineering What Our Client OffersGain hands-on field experience with one of the world’s leading energy technology companies Learn directly from experienced engineers and supervisors Contribute to meaningful projects supporting well integrity and operational safety Develop technical and professional skills that open doors to future careers within the companySeniority level
