About Us QuantWare is building the world’s most powerful quantum processors to solve humanity's greatest challenges. We do this with our unique VIO™ technology, the only QPU architecture that breaks the hardware barriers that have held quantum computing back, unlocking the path to MegaQubit quantum processors.
With VIO, we are paving the way for the hyper-scale quantum computers that will change the world. And delivering on that vision demands people who don’t shy away from tackling the hardest challenges of our time. That’s where you come in!
As a
Lead Process Integration Engineer,
you will industrialise our quantum products from R&D to an 8" pilot line. You own end-to-end process integration, MES deployment, yield roadmap and improvement, and wafer size conversion to deliver first silicon out by December 2026. You are the single accountable owner for product flows from R&D→ semi-production → production.
What you’ll be doing
Build and run clear yield improvement roadmaps, using data and root-cause analysis to turn issues into measurable gains.
Own how products flow through the fab– from early development to mature production – and make sure they integrate smoothly across multiple quantum product lines.
Lead the handover of new products from the R&D fab into the 8" Kilofab pilot line, ensuring a smooth and predictable ramp.
Work closely with R&D to define process windows and design margins, and turn findings into concrete corrective and preventive actions (e.g. via 8D).
Make quality, reliability, and manufacturability part of every decision and every process flow.
Lead MES introduction for the pilot line and define/release MES flows for 5–10 products so that everyone can see, trust, and use the same data.
Design process trees, route maps, data collection, and traceability from wafer start to final test, keeping complexity manageable and well structured.
Ensure recipes, BOMs, masks, and parameters are correctly linked, versioned, and controlled in MES so changes are always traceable.
Help select and configure the MES platform so it can scale with us and support advanced analytics.
Shape inline and end-of-line metrology and process control strategies that give early, actionable feedback.
Drive metrology tool selection and qualification, and ensure data flows cleanly into MES/SPC/APC/FDC.
Connect process parameters to device KPIs and yield, and make sure ownership of key measurements is clear.
Lead the conversion of 4"/6" R&D flows to 6"/8" pilot production, balancing technical risk with schedule.
Partner with R&D and Equipment Engineering on scaling, hardware compatibility, and recipe translation between tools and wafer sizes.
Mentor Process Engineers and junior colleagues, building good integration habits and strong MES discipline.
Chair the Change Control Board (CCB) and co‑own MRB with Quality, keeping decisions fast, transparent, and well documented.
Maintain tight configuration control and full change traceability in MES so we always know“what ran where and when.”
Bring R&D, Product Engineering, Operations, Equipment, Metrology, and Quality together around shared milestones and priorities.
Communicate clearly on MES readiness, yield, wafer conversion, and qualification status to leadership.
Hire, coach, and develop future integration team members to support the growth of the Kilofab.
Your profile
BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
10+ years in semiconductor/MEMS integration/ process engineering.
Proven record in R&D-to-production transfer, yield ramp, and equipment qualification experience.
Worked in MES, SPC, DoE, and fab data flows (MES, APC/FDC).
Experienced in multi‑product integration, change control and MRB.
Broad process/tool knowledge (lithography, films, etch, clean, implant/diffusion, CMP, metrology).
Strong data skills (e.g. JMP, Python); comfortable with large fab data sets.
Clear communicator, decisive, and strong cross‑functional leader.
Transformation driven while bringing people along.
