About the role

We are looking for a Robotics Test Engineer to support the validation of autonomous drone systems in real-world/field environments and work on improving the company's test environment . This is a hands-on role focused on testing complex hardware-software systems, working closely with the R&D team. You will be working in close collaboration with colleagues in the testing team.

Responsibilities:

Execute manual and automated tests on embedded and robotic systems Perform integration, verification, and regression testing Execute test cases in real-world (field) environments Create and maintain test plans and test cases Investigate, document, and track defects in collaboration with engineering teamsAnalyze test results and report on product quality Support testing of hardware-software integrations Execute drone flights for test data acquisition with customers (approximately 1-2 days per week)

Requirements:

2+ year of experience in testing technical systems (robotics, embedded, or similar) Bachelor’s/ Masters degree in a relevant field (aerospace, robotics, engineering) Basic programming/scripting skills (Python required) Experience with Linux Operating Systems is a plus Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical mindsetInterest in understanding systems end-to-end Comfortable working with custom-built or evolving technology Flexible and able to handle changing priorities Willing to work on-site and in the field Strong communication skills - can help an engineer come to a root cause for issues. Able to work under pressure - Drone testing is always high stakes!
