The Product Design team is the creative hub of our organization. We strive to initiate compelling product stories from initial concept to consumer, whilst remaining efficient, consistent, accurate and true to the brands we represent. You will be part of the Product department, where we work closely with Product Management and Product Development. The Product Designer in this job will take responsibility for the Bodywear and Swimwear collection of PUMA and Levi’s.
Your Mission
Translate product briefings into conceptual designs that align with seasonal creative direction, stichd business objectives, and established brand guidelines;
Conduct thorough research and develop innovative design solutions that are market-ready, viable, and commercially relevant;
Monitor market trends consistently, compile visually stimulating reports highlighting new ideas and opportunities, and share these insights with the team;
Take ownership of complete collections and see them through from concept phase, to design, to a coloured up offer and handover to the Development Team.
Provide precise specifications for product line development in close partnership with Designers, Developers, Product Managers, and the Sourcing department;
Support Product Managers in communicating concepts effectively to the sales team, wholesale partners, and consumers;
Actively contribute to the creation of tech-packs for collection development, collaborating closely with stakeholders including design colleagues, Product Developers, and Product Managers;
Ensure products are value engineered to maximise the price-value ratio for stichd and associated brands;
Serve as a project coordinator to efficiently process customer requests;
Operate within designated time frames and adhere to deadlines;
Demonstrate adaptability in responding to a wide range of briefs.
Your Talent
Minimum Bachelor (HBO) education in Design or relevant working experience as a body and/or swimwear designer;
You have 3– 5 years of design experience, preferably in a sports-lifestyle industry or international organization with global brands;
Solid knowledge of textiles and garment construction;
Strong graphic design skills, including pattern creation and repeat design;
You are creative in terms of solution-thinking to meet the customer wishes;
You are flexible and able to work in multiple projects at the same time;
You are organized, ability to prioritize and can work well under time constraints and deadlines;
You are proactive and a self-starter that is highly motivated to work in a rapid paced environment;
Adobe creative suite programs (especially Illustrator and InDesign) have no secrets for you;
You have strong communication skills and you have a good command English, both spoken and written.
This role is based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible.
