Global Commercial, a function within Care Enablement, unites Sales, Marketing, Global Sales Excellence, and Global Technical Operations. This team delivers high-quality medical devices, technical services, and effective commercial strategies across global markets, advancing our mission to improve patient lives. Goal of function: As a Sales Application Specialist, you ensure customers fully utilize the products and services purchased, receiving the benefits promised in the sales process, while maintaining strong technical relationships and serving as a key communication link between customers, sales teams, and the organization.
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver product demos and answer advanced product questions
Support sales with technical expertise and product knowledge
Onboard customers and explain advanced or customized features
Handle escalated customer issues and approvals
Conduct regular customer check-ins and track common issues
Drive renewals and identify commercial opportunities
Spot and pursue upsell and cross-sell potential
Manage customer communication, resolve queries, and support territory sales
Build relationships with potential customers and key decision-makers
Identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions
Match products/services to needs and support strategic account initiatives
Advocate for customer needs internally and share market insights
Maintain accurate CRM data and support hybrid sales campaigns
Expand relationship networks within accounts and involve specialists as needed
Help design and deliver strong customer experiences
Collaborate effectively with internal teams
Follow all relevant policies and uphold company values
Your Profile:
Academic degree or equivalent diploma, with 3+ years of experience in application support and 3+ years of sales experience (preferred, not mandatory), background as a nurse or equivalent (PD/HD preferred)
Fluent in Dutch and English, additional languages are an asset
Strong clinical and technical expertise with deep dialysis/healthcare product knowledge
Excellent communication and customer‑focused mindset; able to build trust, take ownership, act with urgency, stay resilient under pressure, and manage conflict effectively
Proficient with digital tools and communication systems, including Microsoft Office, SAP, Lotus Notes; knowledgeable in e‑health basics, data security, and modern digital practices
Open to travel across the BeNeLux region and internationally
