JOB DESCRIPTION At TLF, we are looking for a Junior Solution Consultant who will join a team of optimization experts, solution designers, and experienced consultants to develop smart, data-driven planning solutions for our customers.
You will dive into the world of optimization and advanced planning, learning how to turn complex business challenges into practical, high-impact solutions. Together with your colleagues, you will solve real-life puzzles in logistics, manufacturing, and workforce planning, using cutting-edge APS and AI technologies.
Our customers range from mid-sized organizations to large international companies across industries such as logistics, metals, and consumer packaged goods. They rely on us to help them plan smarter, work more efficiently, and stay competitive.
As part of our team, you will play an active role in shaping these solutions while developing your own expertise in a fast-growing and innovative field.
This position is full-time and includes a hybrid work-from-home arrangement.
YOUR ROLE As a Solution Consultant, you work at the intersection of business, data, and technology to design and implement customer-specific planning solutions with measurable business impact. Your focus will lie on:
Learn how to translate business questions into practical technical solutions, with guidance from senior consultants.
Support customers throughout the solution lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, data validation, testing, training, and go-live support.
Assist in designing and documenting data integrations between the APS platform and customer systems.
Analyze datasets to help improve planning performance and KPIs.
Configure and implement customer-specific solutions in data-intensive APS systems using modern development tools.
Collaborate closely with customer users (such as planners) and internal teams, including technical consultants and project managers.
Contribute to pre‑sales activities by supporting demonstrations, documentation, and basic analysis.
YOUR PROFILE First and foremost: like solving challenging puzzles!
Have a degree in computer science, information management, operations management, supply chain management, economics and data analysis, industrial engineering or similar.
Have a high abstraction and analytical capability: you are able to quickly understand business processes and discover optimization potential.
Like interacting with and moving between customers (ranging from management to planners) and our technical consultants when discussing, defining and demonstrating our planning solutions.
Adaptable and comfortable with change in project scope, priorities, and working at the customer location.
Has a technical foundation or ambition to grow in modern programming languages.
Excellent communication skills.
Like working in an international environment as one team: working with international colleagues and international customers.
Have affinity with the industry markets we specialize in.
Have a desire to learn about different business sectors including metals (steel, aluminum), food processing (protein industry, prepared food), logistics services and many others.
Is flexible and is willing to occasionally travel both domestic and internationally.
Ticking one or more of the following boxes will be regarded beneficial, but not required:
Experience as a Supply Chain Planning consultant.
Experience with APS solutions, like for example DELMIA Quintiq, Ortems, Kinaxis, Relex, Arkieva, More Optimal, OMP, etc.
Experience as a Planner or Manager within supply chain planning combined with advanced knowledge of APS solutions within our customers’ markets.
NATURE OF THE JOB We offer you a steep learning curve in a high-performance, entrepreneurial environment. You will closely work together with experienced consultants and sales professionals.
Next to that, we offer a fun full-time job, with excellent working conditions, flexible working hours, good primary and secondary working conditions, state-of-the-art infrastructure and exposure to work on latest technologies.
We provide an environment where self-reliant people, who want to make a career within TLF will be well rewarded. We are proud to be a fully privately-owned company, small enough to meet everyone at the lunch table but large enough to successfully implement the most challenging projects and be seen as trusted advisor in various industries.
This role is based in The Logic Factory’s Headquarters in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
