New Development&Transformation BusinessDivision– Wastewater Treatment Senior Project Manager (F/M) Location: ‘s Hertogenbosch – The Netherlands. Based either in Rueil‑Malmaison (France) or in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with the process&technology manager on biological wastewater treatment plants and biogas desulphurization processes.

Manage all coordination with the client EPC (detailed engineering team) in charge of civil guidelines, detailed piping, electrical and mechanical design; lead the project engineering team and ensure all engineering documents are delivered on time and according to the company’s engineering standards.

Provide technical support to colleagues and end‑users when required.

Initiate and lead team meetings with the integrated team from project kick‑off through project close.

Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks throughout the project life cycle.

Act as the primary interface with the customer on all matters involving contract execution, coordinating with colleagues on resolution of contractual problems.

Work closely with sales to communicate any cost or scheduling adjustments due to change orders.

Ensure a timely close‑out of completed projects, ensuring that all obligations are satisfied and program documentation is properly recorded.

Participate in the project budget in consultation with sales and engineering.

Monitor overall project schedules and budgets of all projects under your responsibility and take appropriate measures in case of deviations to meet schedule and stay within budget.

Monitor quality, safety and other requirements set for the realization of the project.

Check and ensure that the commissioning and start‑up of the installation is coordinated and carried out as specified.

Qualifications

Degree in chemical/environmental engineering (Master of Science or equivalent).

Minimum of 10 years of experience within the field of project management in biological wastewater treatment of industrial effluents or biogas.

Proficient in English (spoken and written); knowledge of other European languages is a big plus.

Practical skills with industrial installations are a plus.

Strong communication skills with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders from varied cultural and technical backgrounds.

Fast learner, curious, open-minded, motivated to work in a challenging international environment.

Agile, flexible and able to work in collaborative, multicultural organizations.

International travel will be part of the job.
