Field Service Engineer | Build, Commission&Service Flow Reactors Flowid develops advanced reactor and process technology for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. For Flowid, Chemploy is looking for an engineer to build, commission&service flow reactors.

This is not a service role where you only see the installation after someone else has built it. You are involved from the start: you assemble the reactors yourself; you build the skids; you test the installation; you install and commission it at the customer site; you maintain, service and improve the equipment afterwards.

That means you know the machine not only from a drawing or service manual, but from your own hands. And sure, we expect you to document your work properly. You will work on Flowid’s SpinPro reactors and other process installations, both in Zaltbommel and at customer sites worldwide. Sometimes the challenge is mechanical. Sometimes electrical. Sometimes process-related. Sometimes it sits somewhere between a pump, a sensor, a seal, a cable or a control loop.We are looking for someone who keeps looking, keeps thinking and keeps asking the right questions.

What you will do Assemble, test, install and commission reactors, skids and process installations. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, process and automation-related issues. Prepare and coordinate service activities with customers, suppliers and colleagues.Arrange spare parts, tools and materials. Create and follow up work orders, service reports and maintenance records. Support workshop activities, inventory, tools, logistics and workplace safety in Zaltbommel.

Who we are looking for You are a practical engineer with technical breadth. You do not need to be a specialist in everything, but you do need to understand how a complete installation works.

You fit this role if you: have experience in service, maintenance, commissioning, machine building, skids, pilot plants or process installations; enjoy working hands-on with machines; have strong mechanical insight; have affinity with process technology, electrical systems, instrumentation or automation;analyse problems calmly and logically; communicate clearly with customers; work in a structured way; are willing to travel internationally; take responsibility without needing every step explained in advance.
